Mahmoud Abbas went to Germany, where he said Israel had committed 50 Holocausts and denied the Shoah in Germany (and praised terrorism), the EU vouched it would support the "Palestinian Cause." The PA, meanwhile, has stood steadfast behind the egregious and fundamentally factually incorrect lie.
The German government, meanwhile is investigating Mahmoud Abbas for Holocaust Denial. Abbas's graduate thesis in college was wholly devoted to Holocaust denial, claiming the Shoah was a myth. It has been publicly available for decades upon decades.
Despite this, the German government has consistently supported and agitated for a Filastini state run by Mahmoud Abbas. With Germany spending decades to assure getting rid of the Palestinian Authority-let alone stopping terrorists permanently-would be met with global outcry, riots and boycott, they laid the groundwork for the vile anti-Semitism on display, and the murder of Jews it leads to.
Germany may be outraged by the leader of the quasi-state they fought for saying the things he has always said, but it would be a lie to say Germany's actions didn't lead to it in the first place.

Israel's Joint Arab list, on the other hand, has collapsed, with Palestinian Arab nationalists (and explicitly terrorist supporting) Balad seceding to run independently from the "more moderate" terror-supporting parties, such as Hadash. With three parties vying for 1/5th of the population in a sector where many refuse to vote in "Jewish Elections", the chances of all three managing to stay in the Knesset is slim. This is especially true as attempts to ban *Balad heat up. They all give insane claims such as the idea "Palestinians" are descendants of Canaanites and Jews, not Arabs (something the Times of Israel gives credence to on occasion).
Israel's Arab parties, which are Arab Nationalist and Islamist (not "Palestinian", which is in itself just an Arab nationalist movement) openly state their desire Israel shouldn't exist. Some commentators, such as Israel's Channel 14 news, have claimed Yair Lapid played a part in this, hoping a more moderate Hadash-lead Arab party would give him the MK's needed to retain the Prime Ministership.
*Israel's far-right Arab-Muslim identity Balad party has been banned from running in its elections, but they have been banned twice before. Both times, the Supreme Court of Israel reversed the decision.

As reported by Tablet Magazine, Israel is in need of new doctors, and has a shortage of graduates. I believe investing in medical school and Aliyah may have solved this crisis. It also would have eased the economic burdens of Jews in America (land of college debt), and been especially important being the Arab-Israeli minority which the Israeli military is widely expecting to revolt in a case of war has a large base in the medical sector. But Israel has instead shut off the faucet of foreign medical students on the basis they detract from the citizens who will stay in the state.
