In Case You Missed it 20 (Special Edition): Israel and Israeli-Arabs
Hello. I hope you had a reflective Shoah Survivors Day. Never Again will there be a genocide of the Jewish people, no matter what we have to do to make that happen.
This issue will be focused on Israel's relations vis-a-vis her 2 million Arab Israelis, and Arabs coming to Israel. Enjoy!
*1. Israel is giving Gay Filastinis the right to work in Israel. They previously could be asylum seekers.
As for the law's context, here is it: Despite the propaganda, Basseim Eid was right when he said it: Israel is a nicer place to and for Arabs to live than anywhere on Earth. That includes Arab-run areas that murder their own people for being gay.
As for its passing, the law was supported by Anti-Semitic and controversial Labor MK Ibtisam Mara'ana, who in the past openly defined her interest as being with the PLO and was almost kicked out of the Knesset for (amongst other things) telling Jews whose families escaped the Shoah and Soviet Anti-Semitism to "Go Back to Poland." Whether or not you like the law, the hypocrisy of this Arab MK is on full display.
2. Israel is also increasing the number of work permits given to Gazans who live under Hamas rule for use in Israel. 14,000 people now have work permits, and Israel's government wants to increase this number. This is despite the fact their tax money will also go back to the genocidal Nazi-loving terrorist group, and Israel has had issues with these permits being used for Hamas spies. Would Israel let Nazi Germans have permits too? And how much of this has to do with explicitly pro-Hamas MK's such as Waleed (more like weed) Taha in Ra'am?
3. Israel is also giving 160,000 thousand US dollars (yes, you heard that right, 160,000) to the soldiers and families of the South Lebanon Army living in Israel.
For comparison, the average Israeli earns 15 thousand dollars per year.
4. In a long-overdo move, Israel adopts the IHRA definition of Anti-Semitism. Long attacked by mentally ill Wikipedia editors and other internet-based critics, it specifies Anti-Zionism is Anti-Semitic in most circumstances. Maybe they can specify it to claim Jews of making Ghettos aswell as Concentration camps.....
5. Look out, Russia, its Nazi-hunting time. And we're not talking Zelensky.
6. Mansour Abbas of Ra'am, the Islamic party in the shattering coalition, had an interview recently. In it, he claimed his "red lines" for rejoining a government in Israel was "family reunification" of Arabs from Syria and Jordan, Jordanian control of the "Al-Asqa Mosque", and keeping Jews from praying there. He also stated Ra'am was established to "Promote the Islamic, Arab and Palestinian cause."
He also said he had taken Benjamin Netanyahu from power, and on multiple occasions referred to Arab society as separate than Israeli Jewish society, with different interests.
7. An English-Language Saudi Newspaper has an interesting opinion article: A true two-state solution of Jordan and Israel. Being it is a network funded by Saudi Arabia, its reality as a arm of opinion for the Saudi Government can't be ignored. Maybe peace really is on the march?
