Recently at the UN, Palestinian Prime Minister Abbas said he would resort to some unknown measure, which appeared to be violence, if Israel didn't agree to 1967 borders in a final peace settlement and enact it within 365 days. This was an agreement made by the Chaim Weizmann on behalf of the Zionist movement, and Feisal Ibn-Hussein on behalf of the Arab Nationalist movement. Both were seemingly allies of the British, and leaders in their two movements. Notably, the agreement, read over and signed by both men (and translators to make sure the English was perfect for both sides.  In 1921 Feisal,  80% of the promised Jewish Mandate of Palestine (modern day Israel, Palestine and Jordan) was given over to Transjordan by the British.
